Problem: 

The rates of new HIV infections had been growing in Russia and the client wanted to address the problem through advocacy building, communication, and reaching the youth who were important segment of the population to be targeted with prevention messages.  The Mission wanted to reach more youth with positive messages through multiple channels of communication. IT Shows was asked to assess the possibility of reaching the young through the web and Internet communication.

Solution: 

IT Shows conducted a thorough assessment of the situation and found out that majority of Internet users (78 percent ) in the country were youth (ages 18-32).  In response to reach the youth, IT Shows provided assistance in the conceptualization, design, and development of a web-based communication program.

Benefit:  

The client Mission was able to serve and reach large number of youth with messages through the most popular internet sites in the country.
